IBM Notes Traveler or IBM Verse

This message applies to people that are using an Apple device to connect to their mail, calendar and contacts.

We have always had an App on Android devices for Notes Traveler. Since August 2015, there is an app in the Apple Store that you can use for mail, calendar, contacts on your Apple device.

If you are currently a Traveler user with your Apple device, you currently have an additional Email account on your device. This works just fine and you can continue this way if you like.

In addition to, or as an alternative, there is now the IBM Verse App that you can use to keep your work communications separate from all the other mail, calendar, contacts on your device.

Go to the Apple Store and download "IBM Verse" if you like. It is a fee app. You must be on OS 8.1 of higher in order to use the app.  Once installed you will be asked to configure it with the following 3 pieces of information:
User Name: (first name and last name, like this: John Wayne)
Password: (this is your Notes/webmail/Internet password)
Server Name: traveler.mydomain.com (you need to get the correct address from your company's IBM Domino Administrator)

If you aren't sure what your user name and password is, try logging into iNotes mail for your company if the provide this. These are the same credentials you need to use with Traveler and IBM Verse.

After you install IBM Verse on your Apple device you may be able to delete the traveler Account you had previously configured on your device.

A couple notes about this app:
